⏱ Start: Immediate, 12-Month, renewable contract

💰 Rate: Up to R420 per hour, Independent Contractor engagement

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Data & Analytics implementation projects for a key enterprise client.

Experience with Databricks and/or Qlik is highly advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years experience managing IT implementation projects

• Proven delivery of projects valued at R2m+ as the primary Project Manager

• Experience delivering Data & Analytics projects to end clients

• Intermediate-level PM preferred (senior PMs also welcome)

• Strong experience using Waterfall methodology

• Agile experience is a plus

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Project / Project Online

• Strong understanding of project governance, including: Project lifecycle management and toll gates, Project charters and plans, Billing schedules and milestone invoicing, Change requests and weekly/monthly reporting, Steering Committee preparation and presentation

• Proven ability to lead project teams, manage clients, stakeholders, and 3rd‑party vendors

• Strong understanding of project financials, including: Revenue, costs, and gross margin

• Milestone-based billing, Cost control and margin tracking, Technology‑savvy and quick to learn new tools and governance frameworks

• Ability to multi‑task, managing three projects concurrently for a single client

• Excellent communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders and C‑suite

• Confident, accountable, and delivery‑focused - someone who owns the work end to end
