Job Title - Senior Project Manager – Rewards

Experience - 8+years

Role Summary

Accountable for delivering one or more large‑scale projects of moderate to high complexity, leading medium‑ to large‑sized teams. Defines project vision, establishes robust planning frameworks, and manages end‑to‑end execution. Success measured by outcomes delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

This role requires not only deep Rewards expertise but also advanced “power skills”—leadership, adaptability, communication, and critical thinking—as highlighted in modern project management frameworks. These skills are essential to navigate complex, AI‑driven, cross‑functional environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage project delivery framework, governance structures, and ways of working

  • Define roles, responsibilities, and stakeholder engagement approach

  • Facilitate workshops with business, technical teams, and external partners

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plan with milestones and dependencies

  • Track progress and provide consolidated reporting across workstreams

  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across business and technology teams

  • Ensure alignment across business, IT, compliance, and operations

  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership

  • Oversee vendor coordination and external engagements

Key Deliverables

  • End‑to‑end project plan with milestones, timelines, dependencies

  • Workshop outputs (decisions, actions, documented outcomes)

  • Weekly/monthly status reports with RAG indicators

  • RAID logs with mitigation plans

  • Consolidated delivery roadmap across all teams

  • Change management and communication plan to support adoption

Project Setup Expectations

  • Establish governance forums (steering committees, working groups)

  • Implement collaboration tools, reporting templates, dashboards

  • Baseline scope, timelines, and success metrics

  • Secure required resources (people, systems, budget)

  • Ensure compliance, risk, and operational readiness alignment

Mandate Skills (Non‑Negotiable)

  • Rewards domain expertise (hands‑on, proven):

  • Rewards programme lifecycle management

  • Rewards models and rule configuration

  • Partnership strategy and onboarding

  • Project Management Methodologies: Agile (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), Waterfall, Hybrid

  • Governance & Compliance: RAID logs, risk management, audit alignment

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Senior leadership, cross‑functional teams, external vendors

  • Data Awareness: Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and AI‑driven initiatives

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Minimum Qualification: Relevant tertiary degree (Finance, IT, Computer Science, or related)

  • Essential Certifications: PMP / PgMP / ACP / CAPM (PMI), PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management

  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Experience Requirements

  • Non‑Negotiable:

  • 8–10 years’ project management experience with strong delivery track record

  • Proven experience delivering multiple complex, strategic Rewards‑related projects

  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast‑paced, evolving environments

  • Experience in Rewards Programmes and Data Analytics initiatives
