About the role

We are recruiting for a Project Planner for an emerging player in the energy sector, the candidate will play a key role in driving the planning, coordination, and delivery of ongoing energy projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a capable engineer with strong project planning experience and exposure to the energy sector to contribute to the successful execution of impactful energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures.

• Track progress and highlight potential delays, risks or resource constraints.

• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement and site execution teams.

• Support project managers with status reports and performance reviews.

• Ensure planning and reporting processes align with established project standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years experience in project planning or project controls within the oil, gas or energy industry.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS project.

• Prior exposure to Shell PMO systems, processes or methodologies will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical , organizational and interpersonal skills.
