Program Manager - Community Outreach

Our client, a highly respected non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced and passionate Program Manager to lead their Community Outreach initiatives in the Boston, Massachusetts, US area. This vital role involves developing, implementing, and managing programs designed to engage with and support local communities, foster partnerships, and advance the organization's mission. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of community outreach programs, including strategic planning, budget management, staff supervision, and partnership development. You will work closely with community leaders, volunteers, and stakeholders to identify needs, design effective interventions, and measure program impact. This includes developing outreach strategies, organizing events, managing volunteers, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and programs. Manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and local organizations. Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and engagement activities. Assess community needs and identify opportunities for program expansion and improvement. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote program awareness and participation. Track program progress, collect data, and prepare reports on program outcomes and impact. Ensure programs align with the organization's mission, values, and strategic goals. Advocate for community needs and represent the organization in relevant forums.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Public Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within the non-profit sector, with a focus on community outreach or engagement. Proven experience in developing and managing community programs. Strong understanding of community organizing principles and best practices. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in budget management and resource allocation. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
