Community Outreach Program Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Outreach Program Manager to develop and implement impactful programs within the Kitchener-Waterloo region. This role is integral to strengthening community bonds and addressing local needs through strategic outreach initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, organizing, and executing various community programs, fostering strong relationships with local organizations, community leaders, and residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and action plans. Organize and manage community events, workshops, and information sessions. Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, non-profits, and government agencies. Identify community needs and develop programs to address them effectively. Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for outreach activities. Create and distribute promotional materials to raise awareness about programs and services. Track program participation, gather feedback, and prepare reports on program outcomes. Manage program budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Represent the organization at community meetings and public forums. Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in community development, program management, or social services is required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Demonstrated experience in volunteer management and event planning is necessary. Knowledge of the Kitchener-Waterloo community landscape is a strong asset. This position requires strong leadership abilities and a genuine commitment to community engagement. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is crucial.
