Senior Program Manager - Software Development

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead complex software development initiatives within their dynamic engineering department. This role is based in our state-of-the-art office located in the heart of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CA , offering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes defining project scope, managing resources, mitigating risks, and facilitating communication among cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, QA, and marketing. A deep understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and proficiency with project management tools are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale software programs, exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. You should be adept at stakeholder management, influencing outcomes, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Experience in C++, Java, or other modern programming languages is a significant asset, though not strictly required.
