Key Responsibilities:
A. Team-Level (Assigned Delivery Team)
a. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retros).
b. Coach the team on Scrum/Agile principles, empirical process control, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
c. Remove impediments and streamline handoffs with Design/QA/Engineering/Release.
a. Maintain clean and accurate boards, sprint goals, and definitions of Ready/Done.
b. Monitor and improve flow metrics (cycle me, throughput, WIP, CFD).
c. Partner with Product Owner on healthy backlog refinement and prioritization.
a. Drive test-first thinking; partner with QA to reduce escaped defects and unplanned
work.
b. Promote working agreements, DoR/DoD adherence, and feature complete on quality.
B. PMO-Level (Jira & Process Ownership)
a. Design, maintain, and standardize Jira project templates (Software/Kanban).
b. Build and maintain workflow schemes, statuses, transitions, validators, and post
functions.
c. Govern custom fields, issue types, screens, permission schemes, notifications, and
components.
d. Implement automation rules (e.g., triage, SLA reminders, sub-task sync, transitions).
e. Create and maintain dashboards, filters (JQL), Advanced Roadmaps plans, and portfolio
rollups.
a. Deploy forms, request types, and intake flows (if Jira Service Management is used).
b. Evaluate/implement Marketplace apps (e.g., Structure, Big
Picture, Tempo) where justified.
c. Partner with IT for instance governance, audit, and change management; maintain
documentation, versioning, and rollback plans.
d. Use Jira REST API (or automation webhooks) for data syncs and end-to-end workflow
extensions.
a. Define PMO delivery playbook (project types, intake-to-release lifecycle, SLAs).
b. Build templates (boards, dashboards, filters, Confluence pages) for repeatable setup.
c. Run Jira/Agile training, office hours, and create self-serve guides and SOPs.
d. Lead periodic workflow retros with PMO; measure and iterate on process KPIs.
Required Qualifications
3–6 years as Scrum Master/Agile Coach in so ware/product teams.
2–4 years hands-on Jira administration (not only end-user) with proven workflow/automation design.
Strong command of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean (WIP limits, flow metrics, Kaizen).
Facilitates conflict resolution, collaboration, and outcome-focused retros.
Workflow schemes, screen schemes, custom fields, permission/notification schemes.
JQL mastery; advanced filters, subscriptions, and saved searches.
Automation for Jira (global and project rules), including smart values and branching.
Dashboards & gadgets for flow, quality, and delivery metrics.
Advanced Roadmaps (plans, teams, dependencies, capacity).
Marketplace app evaluation and governance.
Basic familiarity with REST API, webhooks, and Automation smart values for integrations.
Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and coaching capability.
Analytical mindset; comfort with data visualization and metric-driven decisions.
Strong documentation and enablement (guides, micro-trainings, SOPs).
