Senior Agile Project Manager

Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead complex projects in Lagos, Lagos, NG . This role requires a seasoned professional adept at managing cross-functional teams, fostering agile methodologies, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products and services. You will be responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, with a strong emphasis on Scrum and Kanban frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, managing stakeholder expectations, and mitigating risks. You will facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous improvement and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies. Communicate project status, progress, and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Coach and mentor project teams, promoting Agile principles and best practices. Ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet client requirements and expectations. Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment throughout the project. Track and report on project performance metrics. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile processes and team performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum

Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required. PMP or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in software development environments. Strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships. Experience in risk management and change management. Results-oriented with a focus on delivering value and client satisfaction.
