The role of a Business Process Engineer Manager in the Saudi Arabian banking sector is highly sought after, focusing on operational excellence, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance, particularly within Riyadh-based financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Re-engineering, automating, and implementing new initiatives within banking operations (e.g. brokerage, capital markets ) to increase efficiency.

  • Documentation & Governance: Developing business process governance frameworks, mapping, and documenting processes (e.g., using BPMN) to meet ISO9001 standards.

  • Strategic Alignment: Evaluating process performance through Performance KPIs and aligning them with corporate strategy and digital transformation goals.

  • Project Leadership: Leading Process Excellence projects and coordinating with IT, risk management, and compliance teams (e.g., AML, KYC, PCI-DSS).

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 7–15+ years of experience in process optimization, consulting, or banking environments.

  • Certifications: Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Lean, BPMN, or TOGAF.

  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of fintech trends, payment processing, settlement cycles, and banking technology platforms.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven decision-making and business analysis skills
