Position: Business Analyst - Wholesale Banking - Immediate Requirement

Business Analyst – Wholesale Banking - Immediate Requirement (Full-time).
Responsibilities
Support the Bank’s Wholesale Banking transformation and system enhancement initiatives
Act as a key interface between Wholesale Banking business units, IT delivery teams, vendors, and governance functions
Ensure requirements alignment with approved business strategy, IT roadmap, and enterprise architecture principles
Contribute to initiative scoping, feasibility assessment, and solution option evaluation for wholesale banking systems
Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for Wholesale Banking systems, including:
Corporate and Business Banking platforms
Transaction Banking (cash management, payments, host-to-host)
Trade Finance, limits, collateral, and lending systems
Customer servicing and onboarding processes
Prepare and maintain high-quality artefacts such as:
Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
Functional Specifications / User Stories
Process maps, workflows, use cases, and data flows
Facilitate requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and sign-off sessions with stakeholders
Work closely with:
Wholesale Banking, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams
Internal IT teams (delivery, integration, infrastructure, information security)
External vendors and system integrators
Support UAT planning and execution, including requirement clarification, test case validation, and defect triage
Manage change requests and impact assessments through formal change management processes
Ensure requirements address regulatory, security, operational, and performance considerations applicable to wholesale banking
Build effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholders
Act as a trusted point of contact for clarifying business needs and resolving requirement gaps
Support documentation and knowledge transfer for system continuity and operational readiness
Qualifications
Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, preferably in Oman or GCC
Strong exposure to Wholesale Banking systems, including Corporate and Business Banking, Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, and Lending
Experience working with vendor-led implementations and internal IT delivery teams
Hands-on involvement in UAT, change management, and production rollout support
Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) – Preferred
Preferences will be given to Candidates with previous experience in GCC
Preferences will be given to candidates which are available immediately to maximum 30 days to join.
