Summary:
The UI/UX Design Lead plays a pivotal role in creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centric digital experiences across procurement intake and triage platforms. This position is responsible for leading the full design lifecycle—from discovery and research through to final delivery—while ensuring a cohesive and consistent user experience across internal tools and portals. The role also involves mentoring junior designers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives and enhance overall user engagement.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, supported by a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end design initiatives and guiding junior team members.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Java
Script) is advantageous.
Experience working in agile environments and contributing to design systems.
Background in designing for procurement or supply chain-related platforms.
Familiarity with intake and workflow tools such as Power Apps or form-based systems.
Ability to simplify complex processes into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience building and maintaining scalable, reusable design systems and UI components.
