Earth On Sky
About EOS
At EOS, we are building a next-generation AI-powered women’s health platform across web and mobile. Our mission is to help women manage their gynecology, reproductive health, family health, and wellness journeys with more clarity, confidence, privacy, and continuity.
Sparkle is designed to simplify fragmented healthcare experiences, make complex medical information easier to understand, and create trusted digital journeys for women across different life stages.
This is not a maintenance-design role. This is a rare opportunity to join early, shape a health product from the ground up, and design experiences that can have real impact at scale.
About the Role
We are looking for a Founding Product Designer / UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end user experience for our gynecology and women’s health product across mobile apps and web platforms.
This role is especially suited for a designer who deeply understands women’s health needs, sensitive healthcare journeys, privacy concerns, emotional user experiences, and trust-building design.
Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those with professional or lived experience related to women’s health, gynecology, reproductive care, fertility, pregnancy, menstrual health, menopause, or family health.
You will work closely with founders, product, engineering, medical/domain experts, and AI teams to design intuitive, elegant, accessible, and trustworthy experiences for users managing personal and family health.
What You’ll Design
You will help shape and design core product experiences such as:
Gynecology care journeys
Menstrual and reproductive health tracking
Pregnancy, fertility, and postpartum health workflows
Personal and family health records
AI-assisted health insights and recommendations
Symptom logging and health history flows
Doctor consultation and care-navigation experiences
Privacy, consent, permissions, and sensitive-data experiences
Health dashboards and personalized insights
Mobile-first and web-based product experiences
Future multi-country and localization-ready user journeys
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design process from research and problem framing to wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and developer handoff.
Design intuitive, emotionally sensitive, and trustworthy user experiences for mobile apps and web applications.
Translate complex gynecology and women’s health workflows into simple, accessible, and user-friendly journeys.
Create user flows, information architecture, interaction patterns, and polished visual designs.
Build and maintain a scalable design system across web and mobile products.
Partner closely with founders, product managers, engineers, and healthcare/domain experts to shape product roadmap and feature decisions.
Conduct user research, usability testing, interviews, and feedback analysis to improve product quality.
Design for sensitive user moments, including health anxiety, privacy concerns, test results, symptoms, care recommendations, and family involvement.
Design edge cases including loading, empty, error, permission, consent, and emergency-support states.
Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, inclusive, and easy to implement.
Create clear design documentation, prototype interactions, and developer-ready specs in Figma or equivalent tools.
Contribute to product thinking, not just screen design, by helping prioritize what matters most for users and the business.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, or digital experience design.
Strong portfolio showing work across mobile and web applications.
Strong command of Figma, prototyping, wireframing, component libraries, and design systems.
Excellent understanding of interaction design, layout, typography, hierarchy, and visual communication.
Experience designing intuitive workflows for data-rich, process-heavy, or privacy-sensitive products.
Strong user empathy and ability to simplify complex user problems.
Experience working closely with developers and shipping real products.
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency.
Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and limited hand-holding.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Comfort working on sensitive health topics with care, maturity, and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthtech, femtech, wellness, gynecology, reproductive health, fertility, pregnancy, family health, or privacy-sensitive platforms.
Deep understanding of women’s health journeys and the emotional sensitivity involved in gynecology-related product experiences.
Familiarity with designing trust-heavy experiences involving health records, medical history, permissions, consent, and personal information.
Experience with design systems for both app and web products.
Understanding of user research, health literacy, inclusive design, and accessibility.
Exposure to AI-assisted product experiences, conversational interfaces, symptom checkers, or insight-driven dashboards.
Experience designing for multi-region, multi-language, or localization-ready products.
Ability to design experiences that feel safe, clear, warm, and clinically trustworthy.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means:
Creating a product experience women immediately understand and trust.
Turning complex gynecology and health workflows into clean, intuitive journeys.
Building a strong design foundation across mobile and web.
Improving product quality through research, iteration, and systems thinking.
Designing sensitive healthcare experiences with empathy, privacy, and clarity.
Helping Sparkle become a category-defining women’s health platform, not just another health app.
