Freelance UX Designer

Looking for a Freelance UX Designer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 10+ yrs. of experience. (UK TIMEZONE)

Key Responsibilities

UX Strategy & Research

• Lead discovery workshops with UK-based clients and stakeholders

• Conduct user research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing

• Translate business requirements into intuitive UX strategies

Design Execution

• Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity designs

• Define information architecture and user journeys

• Ensure accessibility and usability best practices

• Deliver scalable design systems and reusable components

Client Engagement

• Present design concepts and rationale confidently to UK clients

• Handle feedback loops professionally and iterate effectively

• Act as a UX advisor to stakeholders

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams

• Ensure pixel-perfect implementation alignment

• Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on UX design experience

• Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise or SaaS products

• Expertise in tools like:

• Figma

• Adobe XD

• Sketch

• In

Vision

• Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility (WCAG), and design systems

• Experience designing complex workflows and data-heavy applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory)

• Comfortable working in UK timezone

Nice to Have

• Experience working with UK or European clients

• Exposure to fintech / e-commerce / SaaS domains

• Experience with design systems at scale

• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML/CSS)
