Senior UX/UI Designer - E-commerce Platforms

Our client, a leading e-commerce innovator, is seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to enhance their digital product offerings in Pune, Maharashtra, IN . This role is critical for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences across their e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and high-fidelity visual design, ensuring seamless and delightful interactions for online shoppers. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in e-commerce, and a passion for translating complex requirements into elegant design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design process for new e-commerce features and the continuous improvement of existing ones, focusing on user experience and interface design. Conduct user research, including usability testing, surveys, and persona development, to gain insights into user needs and behaviors. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile e-commerce platforms. Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guides to ensure brand consistency and efficient design workflows. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling user interfaces. Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle. Optimize existing user interfaces for improved conversion rates, user engagement, and customer satisfaction. Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and leadership. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design, e-commerce, and digital product development. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and A/B testing results. Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative and innovative design culture. Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards and best practices. Effectively manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a significant focus on e-commerce platforms. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping for web and mobile applications. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, In

Vision, etc. Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and principles. Experience with e-commerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and A/B testing.
