UX Writer/Content Designer 8

(Contract - 6 Months | Hybrid)

Location: NYC - Hybrid (Monday-Thursday onsite)

We are seeking a UX Writer / Content Designer to support a digital transformation initiative within a banking environment. This role focuses on refining and adapting content across online banking experiences to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Write and refine UX copy for online banking features (labels, instructions, error messages, confirmations)

• Collaborate closely with UX designers to integrate content into user flows

• Adapt vendor-provided content to improve clarity and usability

• Apply consistent voice and tone across all user experiences

• Support content audits and updates during platform changes

• Participate in usability testing and iterative improvements

• Help reduce user friction and enhance trust during platform transition
  Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in UX writing or content design

• Strong understanding of user-centered content for transactional flows

• Experience working in design tools such as Figma

• Ability to balance usability, brand voice, and compliance requirements

• Strong writing, editing, and cross-functional communication skills
  Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated environments

• Familiarity with white-labeled or third-party platforms

• Experience supporting platform migrations or conversions

• Knowledge of service design or end-to-end user journeys
