About Society
Society is a locally owned and independent restaurant in Edinburgh focused on exceptional food, warm service and creating experiences people genuinely want to return to.
Over the last four years, the restaurant has grown to become one of the busiest and best reviewed full service restaurants in Scotland through consistency, strong standards and a loyal customer base.
We care deeply about quality, from our ingredients and kitchen standards through to the atmosphere and customer experience we deliver every day. We also care strongly about our team and building a workplace people enjoy being part of.
As the business continues to evolve, we are looking for a highly capable Brand and Digital Marketing Manager to help shape and strengthen how Society presents itself across digital, design and customer experience.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious independent hospitality business with strong foundations and genuine long term growth ambitions.
The Role
This is a highly hands on creative and digital role.
You will be responsible for creating, managing and executing the restaurant’s day to day marketing, content and digital presence.
You should be comfortable personally creating and executing work directly rather than relying heavily on agencies, consultants or external suppliers.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building brands through execution, someone who can design menus, create websites, manage social media, produce content and launch campaigns while maintaining a strong visual and commercial standard.
The role involves significant in person content creation within the restaurant, including photography, video and social content captured during service, events and day to day operations. Please note this is not a fully remote role.
The role can be structured flexibly between 2 and 5 days per week depending on the candidate, however a minimum of 3 in person working days per week is required.
Weekend and evening work will occasionally be required depending on business needs, launches and events.
We are happy to consider candidates with flexible or non standard working requirements, including parents working around school or nursery schedules.
