The Lead Aggregation Manager owns the performance, efficiency, and growth of all lead aggregators. This role is responsible for driving profitable outcomes across platforms like Yelp, Thumbtack, Angi, Networx, Nextdoor, Modernize, e
Local, and others—while ensuring spend is continuously optimized against measurable results.
This is a high-ownership, operator role. You will make frequent budget decisions across 30+ markets using imperfect data, manage vendors against clear performance expectations, and ensure lead quality and efficiency meet business targets.
What You’ll Do
Own Lead Aggregation Performance
Manage all lead aggregation channels across 30+ markets with full ownership of spend, volume, and ROI
Make frequent (often daily) budget allocation decisions based on performance signals, capacity, and marginal efficiency
Monitor and optimize core KPIs including:
Cost per lead (CPL)
Cost per booked job (CPB)
Contact rate
Booking rate
Revenue per lead
Identify inefficiencies and reallocate spend toward higher-performing sources, markets, or vendors
Align lead volume with operational capacity to maximize conversion and minimize waste
Manage Vendor Performance
Serve as the primary owner for all lead aggregation vendors (Yelp, Thumbtack, Angi, etc.)
Establish clear performance expectations across lead quality, volume, and efficiency
Lead regular performance reviews focused on measurable outcomes
Partner with vendors to improve targeting, pricing, and lead quality based on observed performance data
Address underperformance through structured feedback, escalation, or budget reallocation when needed
Monitor Lead Outcomes & Inform Quality
Track how aggregated leads perform after intake using key metrics such as:
Contact rate
Booking rate
Invalid or duplicate lead rates
Identify patterns that indicate:
Lead quality issues (low intent, poor match)
Data quality issues (bad phone numbers, duplicates)
Market or vendor-specific inconsistencies
Use these insights to:
Inform budget allocation decisions
Provide clear, actionable feedback to vendors to improve lead quality
Surface trends to internal teams for visibility
Maintain visibility into outbound performance without owning execution or strategy
Operate in Real-World Data Environments
Work across multiple data sources with inconsistencies, gaps, and delays
Build practical decision frameworks when data is incomplete
Reconcile performance across vendor reports, internal systems, and booking data
Identify meaningful trends and act quickly
Optimize at the Market Level
Understand performance variation across markets and adjust strategy accordingly
Shift budgets based on:
Market demand
Competition
Operational capacity
Vendor performance by region
Test new vendors, geographies, and lead types with a clear ROI focus
What You’ll Bring
Required
3–4+ years in performance-driven roles (lead generation, paid media, marketplaces, or similar)
Experience managing budgets and making allocation decisions based on KPIs
Strong analytical ability—comfortable working with incomplete or messy data
Proven track record of improving efficiency metrics (CPL, CPB, conversion rates, etc.)
Experience managing external vendors or partners with accountability to performance
Ability to operate with high ownership and minimal oversight
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with lead aggregation platforms (Yelp, Thumbtack, Angi, etc.)
Background in home services, local services, or multi-location businesses
Familiarity with call center environments (for performance context)
Exposure to lead routing, attribution, or call tracking systems
