💼What you’ll be doing

As a Junior SEO Specialist, you will assist with the end-to-end SEO process, from technical audits to content strategy. You will support the SEO Team in implementing strategies for our brands and clients, ensuring website health and high-ranking search engine results.

✨Key Responsibilities

• SEO Execution: Support constant optimisation of platforms for search engines, including implementing corrective measures, UX briefs, and copy recommendations.

• Performance Tracking: Assist with managing local citations and link-building strategies to maintain top SERP positions.

• Reporting & Audits: Assist in producing and analysing marketing performance communications, audit reports, and insights for onboarding new clients.

• Web Platform Management: Maintain and update business pages and third-party listing sites (e.g., Google My Business, Yelp) to ensure they are accurate and functional.

• Content Support: Coordinate the posting of blog articles and ensure keyword planning is integrated with social media and SEO best practices.

• Collaboration: Support in-house PPC and copywriting teams by identifying campaign updates through detailed SEO data analysis.

• Technical Maintenance: Conduct SEO analysis of sites, including meta tags, page structure, schema, and link integrity.

• Education: Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification.

• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with SEO/SEM tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMRush.

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to assist with statistical analysis of web performance.

• Organisation: Strong time and self-management skills with high attention to detail.

• Professionalism: An energetic, positive, and service-orientated approach.

💡Nice to have

• Experience or interest in the self-storage industry.

• Basic understanding of Business Management Principles.

• Proficiency in MS Office and E-mail for professional reporting.

• Technical Literacy: Basic to intermediate skills in HTML5, CSS, and CMS software.
