Job Description

About Annex

Annex is a craft brewery making beer, soda and whatever else earns a place in your fridge. We brew for people who care about what they drink - but don't want to overthink it. Technically driven. Constantly evolving. Never precious. Rooted in Calgary's craft community, we respect the process but we're not bound by it. Anything is open to iteration. Everything can be better.

Job Purpose

The Digital Media Manager is a hands-on role responsible for driving revenue growth across Annex’s key channels including taproom, wholesale, and e-commerce through the execution of integrated digital marketing and high-performing content.

You will be actively producing and managing content across social, email, website, and paid media, ensuring Annex’s digital presence drives discovery, conversion, and sales.

Working closely with Sales, Taproom, Events, and Production teams, this role ensures product launches, events, and brand moments are translated into cohesive digital campaigns that increase traffic, engagement, and revenue across all channels.

  • Support landing page creation for campaigns and product launches

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and brand interactions across social platforms

  • Support building an engaged and active digital community around Annex products

  • Help maintain a strong and consistent brand presence online

  • Work closely with Sales, Taproom, Events, and Production teams to align marketing with business activity

  • Support creation of digital and print sales tools (menus, sell sheets, promotional materials)

  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries (photo, video, design files)

  • Support email marketing and CRM segmentation with the broader team

  • Monitor and manage ad spend to ensure campaigns are delivering against performance targets

  • Provide input on budget allocation based on campaign performance and business priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
