We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Manager who can effectively manage digital platforms while also leading content creation and communication strategies. The role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and an understanding of public sector communication standards. Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with project objectives.Handle day-to-day operations of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked
In, You
Tube, etc.).Monitor social media trends, engagement metrics, and performance analytics.Ensure timely posting, updates, and responses to public queries/messages.Maintain brand consistency and adherence to government communication guidelines.Content Writing & Development
Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content for social media, websites, reports, and campaigns.Draft press releases, captions, blogs, newsletters, and awareness complex information into simple, citizen-friendly content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project goals.Collaborate with internal teams for content planning and approvals.Campaign Planning & Execution
Plan and execute digital campaigns, awareness drives, and promotional activities.Coordinate with stakeholders for content inputs and approvals.Track campaign effectiveness and prepare performance reports.Analytics & Reporting
Monitor KPIs such as reach, engagement, impressions, and conversions.Prepare weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights.Optimize strategies based on performance & Coordination
Ensure all communication adheres to government policies and guidelines.Liaise with project teams, officials, and external agencies for smooth execution. Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.3–4 years of experience in social media management and content writing.Solid command over English (mandatory); knowledge of Odia is anadded advantage.Proficiency in social media tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics tools.Excellent writing (Odia and English), editing, and proofreading skills.Basic knowledge of graphic tools (Canva/Photoshop) is preferred.Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Key Competencies
