Role Description
As a Social Media Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of social media growth from ideation to execution to scale.
This is not a traditional role.
You will operate like a brand builder and growth driver, working closely with the Founders and Core Team, owning:
- Social media growth & engagement
- Brand presence & positioning
- Content strategy & execution
- Platform performance
- Community building
- Data & analytics
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Ownership & Growth
- Own end-to-end social media performance across platforms
- Drive follower growth, engagement, and reach
- Set and achieve platform-wise growth targets
- Monitor trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Content Strategy & Creation (0 → 1)
- Build and execute content strategy aligned with business goals
- Identify content opportunities, trends, and formats
- Plan and manage content calendars
- Create engaging content:
- Reels, posts, carousels, stories
- Educational, promotional, and trend-based content
- Platform Management & Execution
- Manage platforms like:
- Instagram
- Linked
In
Tube (if applicable)
- Ensure consistency in posting and messaging
- Optimize content for each platform’s algorithm
- Execute campaigns and content launches
- Brand Building & Positioning
- Maintain a strong and consistent brand voice
- Ensure high-quality creatives and messaging
- Work closely with design and content teams
- Build brand recall through creative storytelling
- Community Management
- Engage actively with audience:
- Comments
- DMs
- Mentions
- Build and nurture an online community
- Handle queries and feedback professionally
- Improve audience experience and trust

Who We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Linked
In, and content trends
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills
- High ownership and execution ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of tools:
- Canva / design tools
- Scheduling tools
- MS Excel / basic analytics
- Understanding of AI tools for content creation
Good to Have:
- Experience in startups or fast-paced environments
- Exposure to Ed
Tech / B2C brands
- Basic video editing skills (Reels/Shorts)
- Experience with influencer marketing
