SOS Media is an award-winning full-stack Digital Media Advertising Agency in Edmonton, specializing in digital marketing & creative content production.

Currently, our firm is looking to add an experienced Digital Advertising Sales Executive to our team.

Under the direction of the CEO and Managing Partner, the ideal candidate will be required to prospect, pitch, close, and manage agency client accounts.

The Digital Advertising Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling digital advertising solutions and assets to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in digital media sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As standard practice, the candidate will be expected to maintain a consistent active account list, generate new monthly business, and ensure all their client campaigns are performing to meet client expectations.

Extensive working knowledge of online marketing, traditional media advertising and advertising sales is a crucial asset when applying for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities through research, cold calls, and emails to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and internal teams to drive revenue growth and increase client satisfaction.

  • Conduct needs assessments to determine client goals and objectives, and create customized digital advertising solutions to meet their needs.

  • Present digital advertising solutions to clients and agencies, and negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including campaign management, creative, and ad operations, to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction.

  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates to clients, making optimization recommendations to ensure campaigns are meeting their goals.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital media and advertising, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, and stay up-to-date with new product releases and features.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a proven track record of success.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and build strong relationships with clients and agencies.

  • Strong knowledge of digital media and advertising, including ad formats, targeting options, and measurement and analytics tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
