Position SummaryThe Talent Advisor supports high-volume recruiting efforts and organizational initiatives within a fast-paced environment. This role assists with full-cycle recruitment activities, candidate tracking, and onboarding processes, including conducting new union hire orientations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage shifting priorities while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport high-volume, full-cycle recruiting for multiple open rolesScreen resumes and manage large applicant pools using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Coordinate recruitment activities and track candidate progress using detailed Excel reportingAssist with new union hire orientations and onboarding activitiesPartner with recruitment staff and stakeholders to support hiring initiativesMaintain accurate reporting and status updates on recruitment activitiesLeverage job boards and sourcing tools to identify qualified candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredExperience in high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume screeningStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting recruiting dataStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsUnion hiring or union workforce experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience recruiting for engineering, utility, or telecom rolesProven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesStrong organizational skills and high attention to detail
