Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, Corporate Tax compliance, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and audit support. The candidate must be capable of independently handling VAT return filing, Corporate Tax filing, preparing financial statements, and assisting in internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle UAE VAT return preparation and filing
- Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare financial statements and audit schedules
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable
- Monitor company expenses and financial transactions
- Prepare MIS reports and management reports
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when required
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records
- Stay updated with UAE tax laws, FTA regulations, and accounting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Experience in VAT filing, Corporate Tax filing, and audit handling is mandatory
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems
- Good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an accounting or consultancy firm
- CA Inter / ACCA / CMA qualification is an advantage
- Knowledge of UAE compliance procedures and FTA portal handling
