Senior Accountant
We are supporting a well-established OEM/ODM manufacturer and distribution organisation specialising in kitchenware , Personal care products as it continues its expansion into the UAE/GCC market. The business is known for delivering high-quality innovative patented products and is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in supporting its regional growth to cater to retail . wholesale and direct to consumer distribution.
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in trade finance, import/export operations, customs processes, alongside solid experience in supply chain accounting within a distribution , ecommerce and distribution environment. This position will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency with supporting basic P/L , Balance sheets , H/R as the business enters a new phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting function and liase with the U.S and Asia office team members.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial and tax regulations , and customs import requirements
- Handle trade finance activities and banking, including import and export documentation
- Prepare financial reports, analysis, and forecasts to support business decision-making
Key Requirements
- 6–8 years’ experience in accounting within a relevant sector
- Proven expertise in trade finance , customs import procedures and distribution/Direct to consumer model.
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations and documentation
- Experience in supply chain accounting, ideally within a trading and distribution environment.
- Current or recent experience working in the UAE market
- Fluent in English
- Experience with accounting software such as GAAP , IFRS using QuickBooks – Mandatory
