Client Details –Work Location: DubaiIndustry: TradingDesignation: AccountantTotal Year of Experience 5+ YearsEducation – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldResponsibilitiesAccounting & FinanceRecord daily accounting transactions in Tally (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals)Book sales and purchase transactions in coordination with origin teams across Africa on a timely basisReconcile debtors and creditors and actively follow up for collections and paymentsPerform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial recordsEnsure strong understanding and application of accounting principlesBanking & PaymentsHandle bank payments (vendor payments, advances, settlements) in a timely and controlled mannerCoordinate with banks for transactions, documentation, and issue resolutionMaintain proper tracking of all payments and ensure approvals as per company policyMonitor cash flow and support treasury-related activitiesExport Documentation & OperationsCheck and manage export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL instructions, COO, etc.)Reporting & AnalysisPrepare MIS reports using advanced Excel (shipment tracking, outstanding reports, financial summaries)Maintain proper documentation and records for all transactionsSupport management with data analysis and reportingAudit & ComplianceHandle internal and external audit requirements, including documentation and query resolutionEnsure audit readiness and proper record-keeping at all timesKey RequirementsStrong knowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in Tally and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Sumif’s)Experience in handling bank payments and reconciliationsStrong follow-up skills and execution-driven mindset
