This position works closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to ensure learners receive the right guidance and intervention when needed. The role strengthens student wellbeing programs and helps maintain a healthy, safe, and productive learning environment across the school. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate a complete school counseling and guidance program for students across all grade levels. Provide individual and group counseling sessions for academic, emotional, behavioral, and social development needs. Conduct student assessments and use data to identify support areas and intervention priorities. Support teachers with classroom guidance activities and student wellbeing initiatives based on the counseling curriculum. Manage referral systems and follow-up processes for students requiring additional academic or psychological support. Create and lead behavioral counseling plans and discipline improvement strategies with the school leadership team. Coordinate student wellbeing programs across the school and promote mental health awareness. Participate in major school events including student orientation, parent orientation, registration, open days, and career guidance events. Work with parents and guardians to identify student needs and recommend effective support solutions. Assist in the development of counseling policies, procedures, and operational manuals. Maintain accurate student records, reports, counseling documentation, and assessment reports. Promote diversity, inclusion, and positive student engagement throughout the campus. Ideal Profile Master's degree in Psychology is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in school counseling within the UAE. Previous full-time teaching experience or successful experience in school guidance and counseling is preferred. Strong understanding of counseling models, behavioral intervention methods, and student development practices. Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student population. Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills. Strong integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality standards. High emotional intelligence and sound professional judgement. Comfortable using computer systems for records, reporting, and communication.
