As the highest-ranking executive, this role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding the footprint of the brand globally and domestically, enhancing guest experiences, and optimizing shareholder value while cultivating a high-performance corporate culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Vision & Portfolio Growth: Formulate and execute long-term corporate strategies, capital expenditure plans, and property development roadmaps to scale the group's domestic and international presence. Financial Stewardship & Commercial Performance: Drive the financial performance of the entire group, maximizing profitability, managing capital allocation, and ensuring strict optimization of asset yields and revenue management frameworks. Brand Elevation & Guest Experience: Champion the brand’s identity globally, ensuring that every resort and hotel consistently meets international luxury standards and exceeds modern guest expectations. Operational Excellence: Oversee all property operations, central services, and supply chain logistics to implement institutional best practices, efficiency frameworks, and stringent internal controls. Stakeholder & Investor Relations: Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, institutional investors, financial institutions, and global tour operators, building trust and transparent reporting lines. Sustainability & ESG Leadership: Drive sustainable hospitality initiatives, integrating environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) practices deeply into the group’s core operations. Leadership & Culture Transformation: Attract, mentor, and retain top-tier hospitality executive talent across the group, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Candidate Profile & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field from an internationally acclaimed institution. Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the luxury hospitality sector, with at least 5 years operating at a Group CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO), or Managing Director level managing multi-property portfolios. Market Exposure: Proven track record navigating the Sri Lankan tourism ecosystem alongside deep exposure to international luxury leisure markets, global tour networks, and destination marketing. Competencies: Exceptional strategic agility, strong asset management capabilities, crisis management expertise, and an influential leadership presence capable of inspiring large cross-functional teams.
