📝 Rquirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or equivalent technical qualification in Information Technology.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in IT support, service desk, or technical support settings.
- Experience providing first and second line support for hardware, software, and end-user devices.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems and basic ITIL principles.
- Exposure to supporting users in an international or multi-site context is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, network connectivity, and VPN technologies.
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal) and knowledge of local language is preferred.
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are
- Provide deskside and remote technical assistance to business users to ensure stable IT operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated via the Global Service Desk.
- Record and monitor all activities in the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
- Effectively prioritize tasks while keeping users updated on the progress.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT teams or external vendors as necessary.
- Assist in managing IT hardware assets according to lifecycle management protocols.
- Support the installation, configuration, and relocation of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate asset records and provide reports on equipment status and availability.
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of IT hardware in accordance with company procedures.
- Encourage the use of standard, approved IT equipment and configurations.
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster teamwork.
- Travel to nearby gategroup offices as needed to provide on-site assistance.
- Ensure collaborations with IT colleagues and end users remain strong.
- Engage in additional IT support tasks as reasonably assigned.
