About the RoleThe Central Brand & Digital Strategy Lead will drive digital-first brand strategy across the network’s language channels, with a focus on increasing brand recall among digital audiences. The role will focus on building digital-first IPs, leveraging the creator ecosystem, and enabling regional marketing teams to adopt digital-led marketing strategies.
ResponsibilitiesDigital Brand StrategyDevelop and implement a central digital branding strategy for News18’s Indian language channels.
Drive initiatives that improve digital brand recall and engagement across social platforms.
Collaborate with regional influencers, YouTube journalists, podcasters, and digital creators.
Develop creator-led formats that amplify News18’s reach among digital-first audiences.
Digital-First IP DevelopmentConceptualize and launch digital-first content IPs across social media platforms.
Partner with regional teams to scale successful formats across markets.
Work with the sales team to unlock sponsorship and revenue opportunities from digital IPs.
Driving Digital AdoptionWork with regional marketing teams to integrate digital-first thinking into channel marketing campaigns.
Build playbooks and scalable formats for social and creator-led marketing initiatives.
Cross-functional CollaborationPartner with regional marketing teams, editorial leadership, social media teams, sales, and product teams to align brand, content, and revenue objectives.
Qualifications5–8 years of experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, or content strategy.
Background in YouTube networks, digital media companies, creator platforms, or content-driven organizations preferred.
Graduate from Tier 1 school, MBA preferred.
