Role Description The Production Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production activities across films, TV commercials, documentaries, and photography campaigns. This role includes planning production schedules, allocating resources, supervising shoots, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The Production Head will coordinate with directors, creative teams, clients, vendors, and technical crews to align production execution with project requirements and brand objectives. Daily responsibilities include monitoring operational workflows, resolving on-ground issues, managing production documentation, and enforcing safety and compliance guidelines on set. The position also involves mentoring production staff, optimizing processes, and contributing to strategic decisions that enhance production efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications Strong production planning and scheduling skills, including experience in Production Planning and resource allocation.
Proven expertise in Production Management and Operations Management to supervise end-to-end production workflows.
Demonstrated ability in Team Management, including leading cross-functional crews and collaborating with creative and technical stakeholders.
Solid experience in Budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiation to ensure projects are delivered within financial parameters.
Relevant experience in film, TV, advertising, or media production, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage clients, partners, and internal teams effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
