Salary
- Pay Grade A130
- $17.28 - $27.78 per hour

Primary Purpose
- Facilitate the efficient operation of the school counseling office and provide clerical services to staff.
- Maintain current and accurate confidential student records.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient word processing and file maintenance skills.
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, documents, and databases.
- High school diploma supplemented by a minimum of one-year secretarial/clerical experience.

- Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate.
- Assume responsibility for the clerical functions of the counseling office.
- Serve as receptionist for counseling office.
- Create new student files and ensure completeness of records for new enrollees. Assist with the registration of new students, including acquiring student records, assisting counselors with schedule set up, point of contact for new parent and student, setting up the student's first day with an peer escort.
- Maintain residency records.
- Check for accuracy of grading period grades and process report cards.
- Maintain student information as required on permanent records.
- Assist Counselors and staff with MAP testing.
- Receive, distribute, and ensure security and confidentiality of testing materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
- Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
