OverviewA fantastic opportunity to join the data and analytics function of the UK’s leading provider of personal finance data. Moneyfacts' data is used throughout the UK financial industry. It is used by the Bank of England, HM Treasury and the UK Government. Virtually every bank and building society in the UK uses Moneyfacts' product and market data services.
This role is an exciting opening to join a dynamic and growing business whose business model and strategy is underpinned by the provision of accurate and up to date financial information.
What is the job like?
This role is a great opportunity to join a high-quality financial data gathering team. The department encompasses creation and maintenance of datasets across all personal finance products (incl. mortgages, savings, loans, current accounts, credit cards etc). There is also considerable scope for the successful applicant to add value to the business in terms of process improvements. You will be expected to learn quickly, with the view to gaining extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and the products on offer and ideally will be able to work to a high standard across a number of different product areas.
Please note: this role is not an IT based data analyst role requiring use of SQL, Python or PowerBI. Our Data Handlers primarily use Microsoft Excel.

Education & QualificationsMinimum 5 GCSE’s grades A*-C (new grading 9-4), including Maths and English2 x A Levels, or equivalentDesirable:
Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience in financial services industry or similar sectorEssential:
