The RoleReporting to the Head of Marketing, Communications and Client Strategy, Asia Pacific, the Client Strategy Manager will be responsible for building up a deep knowledge of the art and auction ecosystem in Hong Kong, its collectors, their collections and their activities, developing relevant and practical client engagement strategies, and help drive client engagement in Hong Kong with Christie’s specialists, client advisors and Chairman’s OfficeSpecific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Conduct research and develop deep knowledge of art collectors, their collections and their activities, the art and auction industry in Hong Kong, and draw insights that are relevant to Christie's client engagement efforts in Hong KongIdentify high potential consignors and bidders in Hong Kong across Christie’s sale categories, and develop client engagement plans with specialist department heads, client advisory team and Chairman’s OfficeAnalyze data in Christie's databases, files, and catalogues, and draw out key recommendations for Christie’s campaigns, consignment and selling efforts among Hong Kong collectorsWork with specialists and client advisors on client development ideas, debrief them after client meetings and visits, and follow up on opportunities and next stepsSupport specialists and client advisors in client outreach for Christie’s global salesOrganize and conduct client reviews with specialists and client advisors, record meeting minutes and drive action pointsPrepare client transactions analyses and reports for the Head of Marketing, Communications and Client Strategy, Asia Pacific, highlighting key points and implications, and ensure they are available in a timely mannerEnsure relevant client and objects information is properly entered, maintained and updated in Christie’s databases, and adhering to corporate data governance framework and guidelinesThe CandidateBachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized UniversityAt least four-years successful experience in the art, auction, private banking, luxury or management consulting industriesGood knowledge of the the global art and auction industries and collecting trends, and the art ecosystem in Hong KongFluency in English, Cantonese and MandarinVery strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skillsVery strong ability in managing, analysing and visualizing dataAdvanced proficiency in Excel and Power PointStrong professional communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels of seniorityAttention to detail and able to prioritise, manage time effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines, whilst keeping an eye on longer-term projectsHighly organised and proven ability to multitaskFlexible team player with demonstrable initiative and creativitySalary RangeHK$554,000 to 700,000
