The RoleAIM is a deep-tech startup building advanced high-power laser systems to protect people from weaponised drones. We are seeking highly motivated Computer Vision Engineers based in Vancouver, BC.
At AIM, you will work closely with our Engineering and R&D teams to design, develop, and improve machine learning systems for real-world defence applications. This includes preparing high-quality datasets, training and optimising computer vision models, and building software systems that enable reliable detection and tracking in operational environments.
The role focuses on applied machine learning and computer vision, with an emphasis on practical performance, scalability, and deployment in real-world conditions rather than purely research-based work.
The CommitmentWe are looking for candidates who are available immediately on a full-time basis and are able to work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
Compensation is between $80,000 and $135,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and demonstrated capability.
Due to clearance and security requirements, this role is open to Canadian Citizens only, with the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
