The Senior Director, Operations – AH leads the operational backbone of the At Home system, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution across customers & bottlers. This leader drives the operational planning, governance, and performance management processes that underpin sustainable growth and channel excellence across Hypers, Supers, Discounters and e-commerce in the Italy Franchise Operations, one of the most important markets in Europe.
The role acts as the system integrator for AH-translating global strategies into scalable operational frameworks, strengthening execution capability, ensuring consistent commercial strategy deployment, sustainable growth and long-term partnerships within the AH channel.
This role combines strategic customer leadership, business development, Joint Business Planning and cross-functional coordination. It brings a strong external customer lens together with deep commercial, financial and shopper insight capability to accelerate AH performance, category growth and mutual value creation across customers.
Key Responsibilities AH Operational Strategy & System EnablementShape and translate global and European customer strategies clear, executable commercial plans, ensuring they are adapted to local realities while remaining aligned with global priorities and principles.
Lead the operational planning cycle for AH, integrating customer, channel, commercial priorities into a unified operating plan.
Represent the operational voice of AH customers in early program design with OU and brand programs, influencing innovation, portfolio, category vision to ensure operational feasibility, scalability and system ROI. Performance Management & GovernanceLead AH commercial and operational performance management across key customers, monitoring revenue, NSR, transactions, distribution and execution KPIs.
Leverage customer, shopper and performance data to translate insights into actionable recommendations, supporting scenario planning, opportunity sizing and decision-making across customers and synergies within the two bottlers.
Identify performance risks and gaps, deploy corrective actions, and ensure escalation, routines and cross functional alignment are in place to deliver targets. Execution Excellence & Capability DevelopmentBring and leverage best in class AH toolkits and best practices from other markets to raise the bar on the execution quality and solve local challenges.
Strengthen bottler operational capabilities in customer activation, digital capabilities and overall commercial execution. System Orchestration & Cross Functional IntegrationServe as the operations integrator for AH across Marketing FLA, RGM, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Franchise Leadership-removing operational barriers and aligning the system behind shared performance outcomes.
Drive disciplined operations, governance, and transparent communication across the KO system, ensuring seamless collaboration between Global, OU, market, and bottler teams. Category, Portfolio & Asset DeploymentLocalize and deploy the NARTD category vision operationally across AH-ensuring activation plans, portfolio and pack architecture solutions, locally relevant innovations and customer dedicated TX building plans align with channel roles and deliver consumer recruitment, trial and frequency. Operational Investment StewardshipManage DFR for the CCH bottler, ensuring disciplined investment tied to operational priorities, efficiency, and measurable ROI.
Qualifications & Requirements10+ years of leadership experience in commercial or customer operations, key account, or category/operational marketing roles within FMCG or beverage sectors.
Proven operational leadership in commercial roles, franchise systems or multi bottlers, demonstrated strength in strategic thinking and execution, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and align, influence and mobilize multiple stakeholders around shared objectivesStrong financial, analytical and operational acumen, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and apply analytics to operational scenario planning and investment choices with strong ROIDeep understanding of AH channel economics and strong ability to translate shopper, customer data into insights that drive growth-oriented commercial decisions.
Experience with RGM principles (pricing, pack architecture, promo evaluation, profitability modelling).
