About the Team
The ShopeeFood Regional Business Intelligence & Planning team plays a critical role in supporting ShopeeFood’s overall strategy and planning. We drive alignment across markets by standardising processes, establishing best practices, and providing senior management with strategic data and insights needed for informed decision-making.
Job Description
As a Regional Business Intelligence Analyst, you will
- Work closely with local teams to drive end-to-end BI projects across multiple markets, coordinating stakeholders from different business functions to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Define and maintain key business performance metrics across the region, partnering with senior management and local business teams to drive alignment on KPI definitions and reporting methodologies, ensuring consistency and comparability across markets
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to provide visibility into business performance
- Leverage both technical expertise and business understanding to perform analysis, generate insights, and influence strategic decisions
- Develop executive-ready presentations and data-driven storytelling materials that effectively communicate complex analyses, business insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
- Lead regional workplace AI adoption initiatives by identifying high-impact use cases, promoting best practices, and driving the integration of AI-powered tools into daily business processes to improve productivity and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Project Management, or related roles. Experience working in the e-commerce, technology, or food delivery industry is a plus
- Proven track record of leading regional or cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and markets
- Strong proficiency in SQL for managing and analysing large datasets; experience with Python is a plus
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business challenges into clear analytical requirements and data-driven solutions
- Proven ability to present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong foundation in statistics, quantitative analysis, and data modelling, with the ability to apply statistical methods to solve complex business problems
