About the position
The Junior Analyst / Analytics Manager will support the transformation of healthcare, pharmaceutical, and market data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making for clients. Working closely with Strategy, CX, Research, and Client Services teams, this role will help uncover commercial opportunities, analyze customer and market trends, and support evidence-based recommendations across the healthcare commercialization lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, naturally curious, and eager to develop expertise in healthcare data, including claims, prescription, patient, provider, and market access data. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and development within a fast-growing healthcare strategy and commercialization consultancy.

Responsibilities & Duties
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze healthcare, market, and customer datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the development of commercial intelligence reports and client recommendations.
- Assist with market sizing, segmentation, targeting, predictive modeling, and customer analyses.
- Conduct secondary research and competitive intelligence assessments.
- Support development of dashboards, reports, and performance measurement frameworks.
Healthcare Data Analysis
Work with healthcare data sources including
- Medical and pharmacy claims data
- Prescription (Rx) data
- Patient-level data
- HCP/NPI data
- Market access and payer data
- Digital engagement data
Analyze patient journeys, treatment pathways, prescribing behaviors, and customer engagement trends.
Support strategic planning and commercialization initiatives through data-driven insights.
Strategic Support
- Collaborate with Strategy and CX teams on client engagements.
- Support commercial planning, launch readiness, and customer engagement projects.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business implications and recommendations.
- Contribute to client presentations and deliverables.
Capability Development
- Help build and scale FSi’s commercial intelligence and analytics capabilities.
- Identify emerging healthcare data sources, analytical approaches, AI applications, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to thought leadership, frameworks, methodologies, and commercialization products.
- Develop expertise in healthcare analytics, commercialization, and strategic consulting.
- Support the development of FSi’s commercial intelligence capabilities and proprietary methodologies.
- Stay informed on emerging healthcare data sources, AI applications, and industry trends.
Healthcare Data & Insights
- Leverage healthcare data sources including:
- Medical and pharmacy claims data
- Prescription (Rx) data
- Patient-level longitudinal data
- HCP/NPI data
- Referral and treatment pathway data
- Market access and payer data
- Digital engagement and omnichannel data
- Analyze patient journeys, treatment pathways, adherence patterns, referral networks, and prescribing behaviors.
- Generate insights that inform brand strategy, customer engagement, field force effectiveness, and commercialization planning.
Strategic Consulting
- Partner with strategy and client teams to translate analytics into business recommendations.
- Support commercial planning, launch readiness, market development, and lifecycle management initiatives.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations that drive patient engagement, HCP adoption, and commercial growth.
- Present findings and strategic implications to senior client stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics, market research, consulting, healthcare, life sciences, or related fields.
- Experience working with large datasets and business analysis.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consulting, or market research is preferred.
- Experience developing predictive models, attribution analyses, or advanced segmentation approaches is preferred
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in
- SQL for data extraction, transformation, journey analysis, segmentation, and reporting.
- Python/R for data cleaning, analysis, statistical modeling, and automation. Experience using pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, tidyverse, or equivalent analytical libraries.
- Cleaning, validating, transforming, integrating, QA/QC large datasets
- Statistical methods including hypothesis testing, regression techniques, correlation analysis, and performance measurement methodologies.
Working knowledge of
- Predictive analytics and modeling techniques - supervised machine learning techniques including classification, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting methods.
- Data visualization, dashboarding & visualization tools
- Marketing analytics tools and platforms
- Market research methodologies
- Healthcare and pharmaceutical industry dynamics

Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Canada, without sponsorship.
- Education minimum: high school or CAEC (College or University is an asset)
- Clear background check: Criminal, US Exclusions Database, US Denied Persons List, and EU, UK, and UN Sanctions List.
