Assistant Project Manager(Westchester / Ground Up)

Role Overview

We are supporting a well-established Westchester County General Contractor seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of active construction projects throughout the region.

This position would suit someone looking to build upon their project management experience while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents on complex projects ranging from commercial interiors through to large-scale ground-up construction.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Assist Project Managers with the delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams.
• Track project schedules, procurement, and material deliveries.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Attend project meetings and maintain communication with stakeholders.
• Support project closeout activities including punch lists and turnover documentation.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• 2+ years of experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager.
• Experience supporting projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, and project coordination.
• Ground-up construction experience preferred.
• Commercial, institutional, or interior construction experience welcomed.
• Desire to continue progressing within project management.
• Candidates based in Westchester County or surrounding areas preferred.
