Join our dynamic Worldwide Grocery Real Estate & Store Development (WWGRD) team as a Senior Project Manager for New Store Development! In this pivotal role, you will take charge of complex construction projects from initial design to grand opening, ensuring accountability for crucial aspects like schedule, budget, quality, and overall delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Leading project execution: Manage everything from the design phase to grand opening with autonomy, delivering desired results.
- Strategizing and budgeting: Develop and oversee project strategies, schedules, and budgets, ensuring financial milestones are achieved.
- Design oversight: Supervise design and engineering phases, including design evaluations, external partner selection, contract negotiations, and procurement.
- Team alignment: Coordinate with architects, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to meet time, budget, and quality requirements.
- Monitoring progress: Set measurable targets and milestones, track metrics, report challenges, and implement corrective measures.
- Budget management: Own project-level budgets and oversee spending approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams across design, procurement, and operations to address project needs and dependencies.
- Stakeholder engagement: Meet with customers and stakeholders to define project parameters, ensuring accountability for quality and timely delivery.
- Project evaluation: Review requests against business needs, providing approvals or recommending alternative solutions as necessary.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery and customer satisfaction, navigating challenges effectively.
- Decision-making: Make trade-off decisions and confidently communicate and justify those decisions to team members.
- Relationship building: Cultivate and maintain key relationships with customers, suppliers, and external partners.
- Continuous improvement: Propose enhancements to project scoping, building, testing, and deployment processes.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in project management, real estate development, or architecture/design.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, business administration, or a related STEM field.

The base salary for this position ranges from $90,300 to $158,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. This package also includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) as well as comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
