Business Development Manager, Freight Forwarding

Our client is an International Freight Forwarding and Logistics company. They are looking for a Business Development Manager, Freight Forwarding to be based in the Singapore office.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new customers within the industry vertical and target customers.
• Develop, build rapport and nurture long – term partnerships with the target existing accounts and continually expanding the account share.
• Organize and participate in regular reviews with the accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention.
• Ensure personal and team sales targets and KPIs are met.
• Provide rate quotes to customers and potential customers.

What they are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or supply chain management with a minimum 7 - 9 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics industry
• At least 3 years in management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of selling freight forwarding solutions.
• Prior freight forwarding (LCL and FCL) experience is required.
• Prior experience Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry is a must.
• Driven and self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
