About The TeamThe FP&A team plays a critical role in conducting data-driven financial performance analysis, understanding past results and projecting the future of the business at the global level. Our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also includes proactively identifying actionable insights to drive high-impact business changes. The regional FP&A team serves as a bridge between countries and group management, working closely with local teams to understand business drivers and translating them to senior management, thereby supporting high-impact decision-making.

Job DescriptionGather business information from different functional teams and translate it into executive communicationEnsure adequacy and accuracy of Shopee critical reports/dashboards and finance-related reportsProactively engage with stakeholders to ensure that all data is up to date and regional teams are aligned with local teams Conduct data analysis on financial issues under tight deadlinesDesign and maintain critical reports for business needsAutomate and improve the efficiency of different FP&A processesRequirementsBachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics or any related field. Minor in Business or Accounting is a plusMin 1 year of relevant working experienceHighly proficient in Excel and hands-on experience with large amounts of data using SQL, Python, Pyspark and the Hadoop ecosystemStrong communication skillsStrong analytical skills with work experience in data-driven analysis under pressureOrganised, demonstrated skills in prioritisation & ability to multitaskProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
