As the VP of Human Resources, you'll help shape the company's strategic direction and have a direct impact on the success of both employees and the communities served.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-state HR strategy aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on labor law, workforce risk, organizational design, and change management.
Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Oversee implementation and governance of HR policies, handbooks, and procedures to promote consistency and reduce risk.
Lead internal audits, investigations, and responses to regulatory agencies, partnering with legal counsel as needed.
Enhance employee relations and manage performance frameworks for corporate and administrative staff, ensuring productive and compliant work environments.
Direct recruitment, onboarding, retention, and engagement initiatives that drive workforce performance and inclusive culture.
Design and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Lead and develop the HR team, setting clear expectations, fostering professional growth, and championing ethical leadership and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldSHRM-SCP or SPHR certificationMinimum 7–15 years of progressive HR leadership, including multi-state employment law and compliance experienceDeep knowledge of federal, state, and healthcare-related labor/employment lawsDemonstrated ability to oversee HR policies, audits, investigations, and legal matters in a complex, regulated environmentProven track record in designing compensation, benefits, and performance management systemsExceptional communication, leadership, and change management skillsNice-to-Have Skills:
