Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new clients, maintaining existing relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of logistics operations. This dual-role requires a balance of strong sales acumen and operational oversight in the shipping and freight forwarding industry.

Job Description

• Identify potential clients and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and NVOCC services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and carriers.
• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals; follow up to convert leads into sales.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics processes from booking to delivery.
• Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure timely movement of cargo.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents including Bills of Lading, invoices, and manifests.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
• Ensure full compliance with international shipping regulations and client requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipments.
• Address customer concerns with professionalism and ensure service excellence.
• Maintain records of shipments, client communications, and operational logs.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, shipment status, and client feedback.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or shipping operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping practices, and trade documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics management software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in handling FCL/LCL shipments and international trade lanes.
• Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).

Fluency in Hindi/ Urdu

Salary: As per industry standards, commensurate with experience
