This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong practice or industry experience, comfortable managing multiple client engagements in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and finalise monthly and quarterly management accountsSupport year-end close processes, including liaison with external auditorsManage day-to-day client relationships and respond to accounting and compliance queriesCollaborate with international teams across multiple jurisdictionsPerform hands-on bookkeeping and review work for accuracy and complianceSupport internal reporting, workflow management, and process improvements (including automation)Assist with UK VAT and Corporate Tax complianceProvide guidance to junior team members where requiredDeliver ad hoc assignments (e.g. board reporting, company formations, group consolidations)Candidate ProfilePractical accounting experience (practice and/or industry)Strong hands on bookkeeping expertiseGood understanding of IFRS / IFRS for SMEs (UK GAAP advantageous)Experience preparing management and statutory accountsProficiency in cloud-based systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, complex formulas)Exposure to automation tools and/or AI-driven solutionsStrong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing environmentsExperience working with international teamsExposure to financial services, private equity, or commodities is a plusComfortable working in tech-enabled environments
