As the Corporate Receptionist, you will find yourself being the company's first point of contact and providing administrative support across the organisation. You will handle the flow of people who come to reception and ensure that you are both personable and professional. Tasks need to be done on time and attention to detail is crucial. Due to the nature of the role, it will be completely onsite 5 days a week (9am - 5:30PM) at our Sydney Head Office in Barangaroo.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage reception calls and ensure the phone line is covered during business hoursGreet visitors, facilitate their arrival, and offer refreshmentsMonitor daily meetings to ensure reception is attended when clients arriveKeep the reception area tidy, organised, and professional at all timesMaintain kitchen areas: pack/unpack dishwashers, restock snacks and drinks, clean appliances, and manage weekly suppliesPrepare and clean meeting rooms before and after useAssist with catering setup for meetings and eventsCoordinate office social and charity events, including larger functions such as the Christmas PartyDistribute and scan incoming mailManage courier bookings and handle packages to/from the mailroomProvide ad‑hoc support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)Set up workstations for new starters with laptops, access passes, and welcome itemsPick up lunch for the Managing Director as requiredPresent professionally and maintain excellent communication skills to represent the companyKey Competencies and Qualifications required:
Proven working experience in similar Receptionist, Office Manager & Admin rolesProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteHigh level of attention to detailHighly skilled in greeting visitors and directing and announcing them appropriatelyAbility to be resourceful and proactive in resolving and identifying issues that may ariseAbility to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressureNote: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
