Position Overview

GMAP Logistics LLC is seeking motivated and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you will professionally and efficiently complete large catering deliveries and other delivery-related tasks, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time and with high standards of cleanliness.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, providing excellent customer service, and being part of a fast-growing logistics operation.

PLEASE NOTE: This opportunity will initially involve deliveries using a company vehicle. However, DoorDash plans to transition this program to electric bike (e-bike) deliveries in the near future. Candidates should be comfortable riding an e-bike and willing to adapt to this operational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to complete catering and delivery routes
• Load, transport, and deliver orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service during all deliveries
• Use DoorDash delivery applications and GPS navigation tools effectively
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
• Handle catering orders with care to ensure quality and presentation standards are maintained
• Complete assigned deliveries within scheduled timeframes

Qualifications

• No prior delivery driving experience required
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
• Minimum age of 20 years old
• At least two (2) years of driving history
• Comfortable using smartphone applications, GPS navigation, and delivery technology
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technology issues as needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (marijuana is not included in testing)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire

Work Environment

• Primarily on-the-road driving and delivery work
• Frequent loading and unloading of catering and delivery items
• Interaction with customers and business clients throughout the day

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Work Location: On the road; Company vehicles will be picked up from and returned to a Brooklyn-based garage, while corporate catering deliveries will be made in the lower-midtown Manhattan areas.
