Delivery Driver 3.5T

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. Preference will be given to candidates who live in E10 or nearby areas."

Duties

• Safely deliver goods to retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and wholesale customers across London and surrounding areas. And outside London as well?
• Follow assigned delivery routes (e.g. Hoxton, Camden, Shoreditch, Reading, Birmingham, and other customer locations).
• Load and unload stock at delivery sites, ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Complete deliveries on time according the schedule.
• Maintain professionalism towards customers at all times.

Skills

• Strong navigation and route planning skills (London and UK motorways).
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Reliable time management and problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

• Full UK Category B driving licence (car licence).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving 3.5T vans in a delivery/multi-drop role.
• Comfortable driving vans up to 3.5T.

Education & Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence (car licence).
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• GCSE level education (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
• Good English skills required for communication and paperwork.

Work Schedule

Monday: 10.00 AM - 06.00 PM

Tuesday - Friday: 09.00 AM - 06.00 PM

Saturday or Sunday: 09.00 AM - 06.00 PM

Salary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Weekend work (Saturday or Sunday) may be required.
