WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Manager, Digital Marketing (Digital Content/Ops) will lead the strategic development and creative execution of high-impact digital campaigns. They will act as the primary strategic liaison between Brand and Digital to ensure creative outputs are aligned, performance-driven, and of the highest quality.
This position will be based out of our Head Office located in Liberty Village and will require candidates to work on-site, 3-days a week.
PAY RANGE
The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000 to $100,000.
Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU’d be doing in this role
- Lead High-Stakes Commercial Moments: Serve as the primary digital strategist for major calendar events, ensuring high-visibility campaigns are executed flawlessly in partnership with Brand.
- Always On End-to-End Strategy: Own the campaign strategy & journey from the strategic brief through to the concept phase, ensuring the core idea translates effectively across all digital touchpoints before execution begins.
- Strategic Alignment: Act as the guardian of the strategy during the production phase, ensuring that the work delivered by Brand and Digital creative teams stays true to the original commercial goals.
- Champion Platform-First Strategy: Move beyond "one-size-fits-all" creative. Define specific content strategies for different channels, ensuring briefs mandate platform-native storytelling (e.g., how a narrative behaves on TikTok vs. a landing page) to maximize engagement.
- Independent Trend Spotting: Proactively monitor the digital landscape using independent research (e.g., Google Trends, social listening, competitor audits) to identify emerging trends before they become mainstream.
- Consumer Insight Integration: Partner with the Research & Insights team to validate findings and uncover unmet consumer needs, directly influencing the Digital Always On calendar and storytelling approach.
- Data-Led Optimization: Track insights and KPIs (ROAS, CTR) to ensure continuous learning, applying a "test-and-learn" agenda to improve future campaigns.
- Support DTC Strategy: Oversee the holistic DTC Strategy, merging feedback and presenting strategies to Brand and Creative leadership to secure approval and ensure execution aligns with the brand vision.
- Cross-Functional Partner: Act as the strategic bridge between digital stakeholders, and creative teams. Translate complex business goals into clear, inspiring briefs that inspires creative teams.
- Strategic Creative Review: Provide the initial layer of review on assets, acting as a gatekeeper to ensure all work answers the brief before reaching final stakeholders.
- Brand Stewardship: Safeguard the brand voice and narrative consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring that "Always On" pushes feel premium and on-brand.
skills and qualifications needed to get the job done
- 3-5 Years of Digital Strategy Experience: Proven track record in Brand Marketing or Creative Strategy, specifically within the Beauty, Fashion, or Lifestyle sectors.
- Expertise in Platform-Native Content: Deep expertise in the social ecosystem (TikTok, Meta, YouTube) with a demonstrated ability to translate high-level brand aesthetics into high-performing, platform-specific creative.
- Data-Driven Creative Intuition: Ability to analyze digital KPIs (CTR, ROAS, Engagement) and translate those metrics into actionable creative feedback that improves performance.
- Expert Briefing & Storytelling: Mastery in writing inspiring creative briefs that bridge the gap between commercial business goals and breakthrough creative concepts.
- Highly Organized Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage the "DTC Strategy Pitchback" and production timelines, ensuring no loss of quality from concept to execution.
