Serves hotel guests by performing the following duties. The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one small group situations to guests, clients and other colleagues of the hotel. Main language communication with guests is English and having the ability to communicate in other language in addition to English enhances customer service.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk and hear. The colleague frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
